Rosé is a type of wine which uses some of the colour of the grape skins but not enough to make it a red wine. The time in which rosé wine ferments with grape skins is shorter than other wines, which gives this wine its signature pink colour. Rosé can be made from any red grape from any region.

Paserene uses a combination of 80% Carignan, 17% Mourvèdre and 3% Syrah grapes for our rosé wine, sourced from our farms in Tulbagh.

This blend gives the wine a deliciously spicy, sweet flavour and a dark pink hue.
